Yes, if you have not (yet) mastered the required knowledge completely, you can of course always try to apply. Naturally, our preference goes out to candidates who meet the requirements set in the vacancy text as closely as possible. Would you rather wait for a vacancy that completely matches your skills and preferences? Then please sign up for the job alert.
How does job alert work?
If you cannot find a suitable vacancy, you can sign up for the job alert. You then fill in your data and preferences so that we can send you a message immediately when we have a suitable vacancy for you.

Can I send an open application?
Open applications are not possible at de Bijenkorf. All interesting vacancies are on our career site. We recommend that you set up a job alert, so that you are informed when a suitable vacancy becomes available.

From what age can I apply at de Bijenkorf?
You can work at De Bijenkorf from the age of 15. You are allowed to independently perform light work during the day, outside school hours and during holidays. When you are 16 years of age or older, you can perform heavier work and work longer hours, including in the evening.
