Within de Bijenkorf our E-commerce team is the youngest and fastest growing department. Within this department a team An 150 digital natives work together on the further growth and professionalization of our digital services. In 2009 we opened our completely renewed webshop and now deBijenkorf.nl has become one of the biggest webshops in the Netherlands. And with webshops in Belgium, Germany, Austria and France we are also growing internationally. 

For our German webshop we are currently looking to for a SEO Marketeer. In this role you are responsible for increasing the visibility and increasing the number of visitors to our German webshop. Together with the other SEO specialists you work on SEO optimizations in the area of content, technology and link building for deBijenkorf.de.

• Keyword research with the aim of understanding:
  • Content optimizations for product listers and product detail pages;
  • New trends, advice and inspiration content;
  • Optimizations for website navigation and facets;
  • Opportunities for Category Squads (eg bringing new brands).
• Contact and coordination of link building partners such as fashion/living bloggers;
• Execution of technical optimizations as a canonical strategy, solving 404's and support with URL migrations such as change of brand name and categories;
• Implementing link building activities and actively presenting new opportunities for link building;
• Drafting reports on rankings, visits, conversion and sales.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
• (Near) native German or extensive experience with the German consumer market is a plus;
• A Bachelor/Master degree in a relevant field;
• At least 3 to 5 years of online marketing experience in the field of SEO (content, link building and technical optimizations), preferably in the retail sector or at an online marketing;
• Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console;
• Experience with relevant SEO tools (e.g. Google Keyword Planner, Screaming frog, Ahrefs, Majestic);
• Tactical operational thinking, quick switching and analytical setting;
• Communicative skills & initiative;
• Commercial insight is required;
• Result-oriented and constant urge to improve.
